A Glamorous Journey Down The Aisle In Stunning Santorini Greece

Marina & Nick & The Fairytale Wedding

Sensitive as the Lilly of the valley, dynamic as Santorini's winds, their love blossomed in Australia and traveled the world.

PLANNING & DESIGN

Fairy tales are real! Marina and Nick are a dazzling couple from Australia who wanted to have a fabulous destination wedding. Even if on the other side of the world, Santorini seemed to be the natural choice, for the Orthodox religion, and for the natural breathtaking beauty of the Greek island.

Nick accepted the challenge of collecting the paperwork required for their Orthodox wedding. He participated in every little or big decision during the wedding planning and design, while he was the absolute star at the reception; from his inspiring and emotional speech to the stunning bride to the incredible singing and plate-smashing moves!

Marina, with her innate fashion sense, opted for a classic and refined design.  Effortless elegance was the key to a clean and minimal style. White flowers, mirror tables and chandeliers, ghost chairs, and silver details orchestrated a glamorous wedding reception at El Viento wedding venue. The bride radiated beauty and happiness. Determined to win Nick's heart forever, Marina deploys her most potent weapon: a soul that's as gentle and polite as it is unexpectedly scandalous.

GROOM GETTING READY

THE BOUQUET

The lily of the valley isn't just a bridal bouquet, it's a quiet declaration of luxury. Delicate and sophisticated, a flower chosen by the royals and our magnificent bride.

A Touch of Elegance Before the Aisle:

In a beautiful twist on tradition, the groom in a Greek Orthodox ceremony doesn't simply wait at the altar. He stands at the church entrance, holding the bridal bouquet. As his bride arrives with her father, he presents the bouquet, a silent promise of forever before they walk the aisle together, hand in hand.

THE CEREMONY

The Nuptial Orthodox Mystery took place in one of the beautiful white churches with blue domes, situated in Imerovigli.

Capturing the Magic with a Santorini Portrait Photoshoot

Saying "I do" in Santorini is a dream come true, but why not elevate your experience to an unforgettable memory?

A portrait photoshoot after your nuptials offers a chance to take a private moment as a newly married couple, and soak in the joy! The Santorini's breathtaking scenery becomes your backdrop, creating stunning and timeless photographs that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Don't miss this opportunity to turn your Santorini wedding into an experience that transcends the ordinary.

THE RECEPTION

Minimalist Majesty: A Santorini Feast for the Eyes

The wedding reception followed at El Viento Wedding Venue, where the guests were zipping cocktails, while our couple were having their portrait photoshoot. Setting the groove, the DJ & the sax player got the party started.

Nick & Marina made a spectacular entrance with colorful day fireworks and joined their friends at the cocktail hour.

The dinner setup wasn't simply a table, it was a captivating display. Minimalist elegance served as the foundation, allowing the other elements to shine. An imperial mirrored table set al fresco under the vast Santorini sky reflected the flickering crystal chandeliers. White hydrangeas alternated with the aligned candles; silver-rimmed charger plates and details, crafted glasses, and transparent chairs completed the reception design. The scene was a breathtaking combination of modern chic and timeless luxury, intensified by the Santorini sunset, leaving everyone speechless.

THE WEDDING CAKE

Nick had this unique idea about the cake. He wanted a flat cake, like the Italian wedding cakes. So Millefoglie it was! But the cake needed to remind the Greek summer too, so a delicious topping of figs and honey was added and went down beautifully! And sky fireworks to frame the sweet moment.

THE PARTY

The Greek element could not be missed in this celebration of love! The party started with some serious plate-smashing moves by the groom, followed by the bride and all guests to the notes of Sirtaki!  The night then seamlessly transitioned into a vibrant dance party fueled by a phenomenal DJ set. With a captivating mix of international music, everyone danced the night away.
